12:57 p.m. — Pitt police assisted the Pittsburgh fire department with traffic with possible smoke in UPMC Presbyterian.

 

3:05 p.m. — Police assisted medics with a person feeling ill in Litchfield Tower C. The person was transported to a local emergency room.

 

6:11 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a minor traffic accident at Bouquet Street and Sennott Avenue. The parties exchanged information. The incident was cleared.

 

9:47 p.m. — A large crowd was reported as being disruptive in the Hillman Library. The officers removed the individuals. One citation for disorderly conduct was issued to student James Tucker, of 3955 Forbes Ave., Tower B, Room 409.

2:18 a.m. — Police issued a citation arrest for underage drinking at Sutherland Hall to student Katherine McNamara, of Room 619 Sutherland Hall East.

 

5:07 a.m. — Police issued a summons arrest in Litchfield Tower A to student Justin J. Muser, of 5618 Wynnewood Drive, Laurys Station, Pa. for indecent exposure, simple assault and public intoxication.

 

12:50 p.m. — A vehicle accident without injury occurred on Bellefield Avenue at Fifth Avenue.

 

1:52 p.m. — Police received a report of the theft of prescription medications from a first floor apartment in Bouquet Gardens Building C.

 

6:14 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a burglary in progress at 170 Robinson St. Officers cleared the house and nothing was found. The incident was cleared.

1:15 p.m. — An officer took a report over the phone from an elderly person who was receiving harassing phone calls from a University phone number. An investigation is pending.

 

1:47 p.m. — The state police asked Pitt police to assist them with a K-9 detail in Bentleyville, Pa. The incident was cleared.

 

6:32 p.m. — Officers responded to Forbes Hall Pavilion for a burglar intrusion alarm. The incident was cleared.

 

7:08 p.m. — A Pitt police officer assisted the city police with an aided case at 320 McKee Place. The incident was cleared.

 

9:21 p.m. — Officers responded to 3512 Fifth Ave. for a burglar intrusion alarm. The incident was cleared.

 

Friday, Feb. 26

 

12:01 a.m. — Officers arrested student Michelle Lynn Muha, of 3959 Fifth Ave., Room 914, for underage drinking at Phi Lambda, 225 Dithridge St. The incident was cleared.

 

Monday, March 1

 

8:31 a.m. — Officers recovered a set of keys found on a shuttle bus near the Forbes Hall Pavilion. They placed the items in the recovered property room. The incident was cleared.

 

12:08 p.m. — Officers assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle near the intersection of Forbes and Bellefield avenues trying to transport a person to the hospital. The incident was cleared at the scene.

 

2:12 p.m. — Officers received a report of a student having a panic attack and difficulty breathing. The student refused medical treatment. The incident was cleared at the scene.

 

2: 27 p.m. — A student reported that a known person was using his room in Bouquet Gardens Building B without permission.

 

3:04 p.m. — Police recovered 10 flash drives from Hillman Library and placed them in the recovered property room. The incident was cleared.

 

3:25 p.m. — Officers received a report of criminal mischief in 316 Allen Hall. They found several pry marks on the door.

 

4:42 p.m. — Officers received a report of a minor vehicle accident at the intersection of Sutherland Drive and Allequippa Street. Officers helped the drivers exchange information. The incident was cleared.

 

8:29 p.m. — Officers received a report of two soccer players who collided in the Cost Sports Center and requested medical treatment. Medics transported one person to the UPMC Presbyterian emergency room for further evaluation. The incident was cleared.

 

Tuesday, March 2

 

1:28 a.m. — Officers found doors in Posvar Hall unsecured. The incident was cleared.
